Make your 2018 A Fantastic Year!

Gyms are already full!

Chocolate, candies, and all the yummiest foods possible on the tables of this holidays. Do you feel you ate as there was no tomorrow? Was your mouth still moving and chewing independently? Your brain was not even there anymore, and your belly was about to take off? It is all good! Thank god is done lol! It is so much exciting noticing how we humans connect emotionally with things around us. The holidays are just a good example to describe it.

It’s Christmas, and we have beautiful tables all decorated in our homes, warm atmospheres, lights, bottles of wine, colors, all the sparkle is around. The ambient is charming, and we can’t wait to enjoy our time with family and friends, sharing harmony and valuable time. It’s a tradition!

Here a little secret for you…

I know I should have sent out this email before Christmas, but I let you enjoy the end of the year without overthinking. These are the first new fresh pages of this beautiful long 2018, and we all have the time to set up the best conditions to invest in ourselves and live every single day satisfying our needs.
So here is my secret. I usually don’t look at calories, but I do care about quality! Taking care of our health is the first thing we should learn to do in school. It doesn’t mean we have to be in restrictions. Of course, we have to enjoy what we eat, but why can we not do it with style?

Thinking about how to please our body mind and spirit is the perfect combination when I think about wellness and feeling good!

I know perhaps when we decide to eat a meal or a snack we may not automatically think to go to the quality-healthy choice. Our first thought is to fulfill our stomach and feel satiated. But especially during the holiday’s time statistics show that many of us end up gain more than 5 lbs.

The result is that we fight against the weight eventually. Gyms are full of desperate people sweating and working out so hard trying to lose these lbs. What a second effort and a waste of energy!

We go around and around to buy gifts for everyone, and we forget to keep the better gift for ourselves.

Supporting our healthy lifestyle in every season and occasion is the best gift ever! The quality of the food we eat is essential, and any contribution we make to this is an excellent addition to keep our lives safe and sound. Movement is significant, so I’m not saying that we don’t have to go to the gym. But what usually happens here is that we tend to go to the gym every day. We try to repair the exaggeration of having overeaten with the excess of running to workout every single moment of freedom we have.

Restrictions don’t last forever!Not in food, not at the gym, not in other aspects of life.

Try to treat yourself kindly all the time of the year, allow yourself to enjoy things. When we lose the pleasure of what we are doing, then we start to see things as forcing. A delightful massage, coffee with a good friend, a relaxing bath surrounded by candles, something that energizes us and keeps our energy level good is always better than stressing out in some situation which probably makes us gain even more weight.

I have mentioned many times that restrictions and deprivations are not healthy, but instead, we have to try to maintain a right balance which is at the base for a great lifestyle.
